Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English heritage. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was traumatic, and refused to study English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in plays. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
