Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother was her manager during her teens and her dad Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew up with her three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and began acting when she was just four years old. In the early stages of her career, she was an extra in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. When she was 13, she starred in her debut film Friday. First gaining attention during 1997 due to her performance as Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was first seen in minor roles in film and on TV for a couple of years after which she moved on to mature roles by the beginning 2000s. She was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. show from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she landed small roles in films House Party Down to the Last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She was a part of Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in the pilot episode. The Hulu series If I Can Dream revolves on the daily lives of group of musicians who live on the streets of Hollywood California.
